Yuxian Mountain Retreat

The project is a series of small stone houses in the Yuxian village, 2 hours drive West of Beijing. The mountainous landscape is ideal for hiking activities as a weekend break from the tumultuous chinese cities. The project’s ambition is to bring activities back in the area which is suffering from rural exodus. It is designed as retreat for short, medium and long stays. Unfortunately, the covid epidemic has put a halt to the project.
